Prof Ricardo Liborio (ATT) promotes Prof Kayoom to black-belt (2009)



Prof Kayoom is the head BJJ/CM instructor at BKKBJJ. Making his move from Australia, Prof has been training/fighting Muay Thai, professionally since 2005. He is now dedicated himself to promoting BJJ in the ‘land of smiles’.

Coach Phil is Mauricio 'Tinguinha' Mariano brown-belt and has been training BJJ, Grappling, Muay Thai
and MMA for well over 10 years. Coach Phil can be found teaching BJJ every Monday evening.



Coach Pat is a purple-belt under Charles Gracie and is originally from Las Vegas, NV.







Coach Luke is a purple-belt under Prof Kayoom and has been training BJJ since 2005. He is the author of BJJ-ASIA blog, co-director of the BJJAT (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association of Thailand) and manager/owner of Bangkok BJJ. Luke can be found teaching classes in the morning and monitoring open-mat each Saturday.



Minyoung is our visiting Yoga instructor from Sunnyvale,CA (USA). Having studied under renowned yogi Mark Stephens - author of Teaching Yoga: Essential Foundations and Techniques. Her classes focus in Vinyasa, Power & Flow for the BJJ athlete.






Matt is originally from London, UK and been in Asia for over 3 years. He is a ACE (American council of Exercise) qualified
Personal Trainer, and IKFF(International Kettle-bell Fitness Federation) qualified instructor under Steve Cotter. Martial arts has been
a big part of Matt’s life from a young age with first learning and then teaching at his father’s Chinese Kung-Fu school. Matt now also
trains in BJJ and is always trying to further his skills in Martial Arts and body conditioning.
